BEIJING -- Chinese shares extended rallies on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index (SCI) rising for the fourth straight trading day by ending at 3,061.02 points, up 1.31 percent.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 10,786.72 points, up 1.11 percent.
