Top 10 regions where people spend the most via Alipay

People across China are embracing Alipay with the average individual expenditure via the service surpassing 100,000 yuan ($14.417) in five regions including Beijing, Shanghai and Zhejiang province.

According to Alibaba's figures, only Shanghai achieved that level of spending in 2015.

Shanghai residents continue to be the biggest fans of Alipay with their average spending jumping nearly 50 percent from a year ago to 148,000 yuan.

Here are the 10 regions where people spent big using Alipay.

No 10 Tibet autonomous region
