Mercedes-Benz's dynamic All New GLA SUV is ready for road challengers to experience, as the German premium vehicle producer is offering the first test drives in Sanya, Hainan province, from Dec 9 to 11.

Despite the difficult roads through coconut groves, the GLA 260 4MATIC and GLA 200 will make light work of the terrain, effortlessly and stylishly displaying its excellent handling and outstanding off-road performance that provide unadulterated driving pleasure.

Proudly sporting the genes of the Mercedes-Benz SUV family, the GLA is for consumers with a pioneering spirit, zest for life and the courage to try new things.

As the fourth member of Mercedes-Benz premium compact car family, the All New GLA not only sets a new benchmark in the compact SUV segment, it also further expands Mercedes-Benz's premium compact car and SUV product lines.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA test drive in Sanya will feature unique activities and an exciting off-road test drive designed to highlight the sporty character of the GLA.

To make the test drive experience both realistic and interactive, participants will earn points by participating in challenges and can compete for the "GLA Cup".

In the "Pinnacle" climbing competition, participants will have to climb a peak using both their hands and feet, just like the variable 4MATIC all-wheel drive system on the GLA 260 4MATIC, which provides all four wheels with power at the same time whenever necessary.

The highlight event will be the test drive itself, including a challenging 6-kilometer off-road experience that will underscore the performance of the GLA.

With its accurate turning, agile handling and amazing power, the GLA will let the participants circumvent all obstacles.

In particular, the GLA 260 4MATIC with its variable 4MATIC all-wheel drive system will handle the forest and mountain roads with ease, providing an exciting driving experience for participants.

It features an enhanced suspension that raises the body 30 millimeters, giving it the highest-in-class ground clearance at 204 mm.
