China's securities regulator released revised regulations on the major asset restructuring of listed companies in September.
Dubbed as the toughest regulation on restructuring, the new rules aim to cool down backdoor listing and curb speculation on shell companies - listed companies that were believed to be acquisition targets of unlisted firms.
