Robin Williams thanks wife for smooth divorce

Oscar winning actor Robin Williams is grateful to his wife Marsha for not turning their divorce into a messy and expensive affair.

Contactmusic.com reports that the couple filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

Williams, who has for the first time spoken about the divorce in public, said: 'I'm lucky... with someone like Marsha, and we have amazing kids and it's not a slash and burn.
