Miley Cyrus' brother is engaged.

Trace Cyrus - the 22-year-old brother of the 'Hannah Montana' star - has revealed he proposed to his girlfriend; Disney starlet Brenda Song last week.

He tweeted: "I am very excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend Brenda Song to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged! (sic)".

Trace has made no secret of his desire to settle down, recently explaining he had bought his very first house and taking 23-year-old Brenda home to visit his family in Tennessee.

He wrote on twitter: "At a mexican bar. Getting some good drinks and some good food on a beautiful Friday. Just signed the papers for my first house today! Stoked

"In Tennessee with my beautiful girlfriend. Having a blast! No cell service. Just got Internet for the first time. Feels good to be home!!! (sic)"

Brenda was spotted sporting a diamond engagement ring while leaving Kalologie Skin Care in Los Angeles yesterday (13.10.11).
