Aguilera's star studded birthday bash

Christina Aguilera celebrated her 31st birthday with a star studded bash on Saturday (17.12.11).

The 'Moves Like Jagger' singer - who turned 31 on Sunday (18.12.11) - invited 50 of her closest friends and family, including fellow 'The Voice' mentors Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and her boyfriend Matthew Rutler to the party at the Spare Room in Los Angeles where guests dined on mini-sliders and quesadillas and played party games.

A source told USmagazine.com: ""Adam, Blake and Blake's wife Miranda all bowled. Other guests played board games like Connect Four, checkers and backgammon. Christina's really competitive and wanted games to be part of the party."

Christina's boyfriend Matthew - who she has been dating since shortly after splitting from husband Jordan Bratman in 2010 - surprised her with a special Marie Antoinette cake.

The source added: "Christina loves costumes and period pieces so it was perfect. Everyone had a great time."

The 'Burlesque' star - who has a three-year-old son Max with Jordan - has previously praised Matthew as "lovely", saying she is delighted to have found love again after the breakdown of her marriage.

Christina said: "There is someone very lovely in my life. Yes."
