Chinese actor and director Stephen Chow said he was very shy when he was young and grew up to be a perfectionist. He takes his career very seriously and likes his co-workers to deliver the best they can.

Those who have worked with him often complain of his aggressive temper. Chow has never admitted to suffering from depression but said he did go through a period of inner struggles.
