Karma comes to motorcycle thief

A man stole a motorcycle in Hefei, Anhui province, last Tuesday, and was cursed to chilling effect by the owner.

As the thief surnamed Fan ran away the owner shouted out: "You will be knocked down by a car when you go into the street."

The owner's words came true that night after Fan rode the stolen vehicle to a nearby town.

While waiting for a red light he was hit from behind by another motorcycle. Fan then fought with the two men who were on the vehicle.

They called three friends and the group beat Fan so ferociously he passed out.

While investigating the case, police discovered Fan stole the cycle and detained him.
