Daring crooks try to steal ATM machine

Two brazen but inept crooks were arrested after they tried and failed to steal an entire ATM machine from a self-service bank one night. The crooks tried to roll the machine out of the bank in Beijing but there were no wheels on it. After they destroyed the wires on the ATM, they realized their mistake and fled. Police caught them days later in Qingdao, Shandong province, using the bank's surveillance video system, and charged them with larceny this week. (Beijing Evening News) |
