Dad tries to steal female corpse for dead son

Updated: 2009-06-18 09:38 A man who tried to steal a female corpse to tie the knot with his dead son was arrested in Jingyang county, Shaanxi province. Lu Yangzeng, a farmer in Hengshan county, paid a man to find the corpse after his 19-year-old son was killed in a traffic accident in 2008. In following a custom to offer marriage to a dead adult man during burial, Lu asked his friends to help him to get a female corpse for his dead son. Then Lu got information about the corpse that went for the price of 38,000 yuan ($5,564). He said an 18-year-old girl died and they visited the girl's tomb to steal the corpse when police arrested them. It's not customary to steal a corpse. (Huashang Daily) |
