China's output of agricultural machines to exceed 230B yuan

China's production of agricultural machines grew by 20 percent annually since a law designed to promote the use of agricultural machines in China came into effect five years ago, according to the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Zhang Taolin, xinhuanet.com reported today.

Zhang said that the sales of agricultural machines also rose since the law came into effect.

Zhang also said he expected the value of agricultural machines produced in China to exceed 230 billion yuan ($33.68 billion) this year.
