People's Daily continues to cover the achievements that China has made in the past decade ahead of the 18th National Congress of Communist Party of China, saying that the country has entered an era of "high-speed train" on its front page. The overall length of China's high speed railway extended to 6,894 kilometers by July 2012. In the 12th Five-year plan, the total length of railways allowing a speed of more than 200 km/hr will reach 18,000 km. |
