Fang Zhouzi, a popular scientific writer and China Central Television's star host Cui Yongyuan debated the safety of genetically modified food on Weibo, including rice and corn, which was labeled scientifically safe when Fang helped organize?a taste testing of boiled GM corn in Beijing on Saturday.

"You can choose to eat, I can choose not and I have the right to query on whether the science that you understood is really scientific or not," Cui said.

About 30,000 bricks from the city wall of Nanjing during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) were found by accident in the city's Qinhuai district when local authorities launched a demolition for some buildings.
