Tenor's son stands second trial

The younger Li and four other men were detained on Feb 21 after a woman surnamed Yang reported to police that she had been taken to a hotel and gang raped. The younger Li was sentenced to ten years in prison, while Wang 12 years, and three others were given prison terms ranging from 3 to 4 years in the first trial. The Beijing No1 Intermediate People's Court heard the appeal submitted by Li and Wang here on Tuesday.
