Elimination margins at 8 pct for election

Large Medium SmallBEIJING - The elimination margins for the election of members of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), the country's top legislature, stood at eight percent, according to the election result on Thursday.
Among 174 candidates, 161 were elected NPC Standing Committee members at the first session of the 12th NPC.
