Food lovers can now check out the latest information on food and restaurants at Sohu.com's mobile news.
More than 70 foodies from across China have formed a we-media league on the mobile news platform. Meanwhile, the second phase of A Bite of China, a China Central TV documentary channel production, has been launched in cooperation with Sohu.com.
The company announced formation of the league at a news conference and gourmet forum in Beijing where renowned chefs and foodies from the entertainment world cooked 15 classic home-style dishes and rated the three most popular ones.
Zhang Chaoyang, Sohu.com's chairman and CEO, says the absorption of we media into the company's mobile news platform will provide a more useful information service to netizens and mobile users.
Sohu.com says its mobile news has 70 million users and that clicks on stories related to food and wine exceed 7 million a day.
