Lessons in love

Poly Theater's new play, Cherish Our Love Forever, is based on the popular, TV drama of 1998, with the same title, that revolved around the love lives of six young college mates. The play sets the same story ten years later, when the six are more mature.

Everything is different now as the protagonists have to take care of their parents, hold down jobs and resist temptations. The play shows how they overcome all difficulties by keeping a positive attitude toward life.

Both director Rao Xiaozhi, and the cast, belong to the post-80s generation. Producer Li Yapeng played the lead role in the TV version.
