Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is the largest administrative area in the country, covering an area of more than 1,660,000 square kilometers or 1/6 of the national land area. Xinjiang boasts vast territory, various landforms and has a conspicuous continental climate, with a highly changeable temperature, abundant sunshine, intense evaporation, and little precipitation. Xinjiang is endowed with abundant natural and cultural tourist resources, with unique natural spots, desert adventures, cultural sites and rich and profound local cultures, which attract a large number of visitors or holiday makers.
