Housed in a former electronics factory on Julu Road, Mesa brings industrial chic to Shanghai with a bright, modern warehouse type space with huge glassed kitchen.

Mesa offers brunch on weekends, fresh breads & pastries, savoury breakfast options, gourmet salads and sandwiches, and mains as well as an extensive a la carte dinner menu. Choose from signature dishes such as "Carpaccio of beef with roast garlic goats cheese gratin & grilled focaccia", "Soy, star anise & ginger baked salmon with tea soba noodle and pickled cucumber salad", "Seared duck breast & scallops, smoked eggplant, wilted greens & caramelized fig dressing" and "Harissa lamb pie on sweet corn broth with tzatziki & tomato mint salsa". For dessert, the tasting platter is a must-try.

At manifesto, nibble on "Grilled chorizo with sherry, goats curd and homemade tomato jam", "Baby burger with dill pickle, cheddar, tomato and mustard aioli" and "Sesame prawns with rice wine ginger and chilli dressing".

The wine list offers over 50 Old and New world wine selections, with 20 available by the glass

Mesa Manifesto offers private dining and function space for parties up to 40 persons for dinner and 250 for standing cocktails. Private luncheons can also be arranged.
