BARCELONA, Spain: One of the most frustrating experiences of mobile phone users will become a thing of the past if manufacturers make good their promise.

A standardized charger for all cell phones - that's what leading mobile phone manufacturers yesterday agreed to produce. The move comes not only as a relief for users, but will also help save money and reduce waste.
