Reporter gets a little too close to infectious story

China Daily journalist Wang Hongyi said local authorities appeared inefficient when she told them she may have A(H1N1) influenza.

The journalist was a passenger on the same flight as a person later confirmed as having the virus last Thursday.

After visiting her boyfriend in Fuzhou, the 25-year-old was about to board a return flight to Shanghai when she learned of that patient's diagnosis.
