Realty sector has many problems

Comment on "Plans to cool housing sector" (China Daily, March 27)

In my opinion, the central and local governments are heating up the housing market by adopting new restrictions and imposing higher taxes on properties. These moves will not make any difference to the ultra-rich and speculators. Instead, they will harm average homebuyers, who have to save every cent to buy a house.
