Ocean week to highlight themes of marine life

Exhibitions, foods and music will be the highlights of events in Zhanjiang during the National Holiday.

Zhanjiang, best known as Guangdong province's "Ocean City", will host Ocean Week from Sept 29 to Oct 5.

The week, which focuses on presenting marine economy, culture, military and tourism to the public, will help the city expand its influence as well as promote its global image, according to the municipal government.
