Choice Electronic Technology Co based in Zhongguancun rarely boasts publicly about how good its products are, although they have won a series of national and overseas awards for technological innovation and progress.

"We are a simple and restrained company specializing in the research and production of proprietary medical appliances and healthcare products for more than 20 years," company chairman Liu Shuhai told China Daily.

Founded in 1993, the company also known as ChoiceMMed now has more than 700 employees including about 200 R&D professionals.
