2 Red bean

The red bean, or azuki bean, means "missing you" for ancient Chinese people. There is a famous poem that says the red bean is the best way to express how much you miss your lover.

The meaning comes from a story. It is said that a man joined the army in the past, and his wife stood under a big tree everyday, awaiting his safe return. She cried when she missed her husband and blood ran out of her eyes when her tears ran dry. The drops of blood turned into red beans and grew into a big tree. Thereafter, people called it "missing bean".
