Manchuan Ancient Town: Where time runs still

Manchuan town of Shanyang county, Shaanxi province used to be a border town that connected Qin, Jin, Wu, and Chu, four states of the Warring States Period; during the Southern Song Dynasty, this town was the one that Song and Jin kept fighting for; one of the crucial battle of the Red Fourth Army also took place in this town. Manchuan town has a long history for commence and trade. In the recent years, 200 million yuan has been invested to rebuild the infrastructures and develop local tourism.
