The National Youth Ballet Germany is Germany's first professional ballet troupe of young people. It is based in Hamburg, consisting of eight professional dancers who are from 18 to 23 years old. Especially focusing on young audiences, the troupe aims to demonstrate the social relevance of dance as well as a spirit of community and a sense of unity.
