Sketches drawn by Wu Shijun have become hugely popular on Chinese Internet sites. Once a farmer from Dali county of Shaanxi province, Wu now works as a security guard at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. He was interested in drawing as a kid but was scolded by his teacher for not focusing on his studies. He later joined the army and only picked up the interest in art again while working at the fine arts academy. |
