A boat festival starts on Qinhu Lake in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, April 8, 2016. The folk festival, which dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), retains the same rituals from hundreds of years ago. More than 400 boats and tens of thousands of participants attended the festival, which is recognized as an intangible culture heritage in China and also known as the largest temple fair on water.
