Lv Pintian exhibition held in Guangzhou

"Lv's paintings embody his personality. Just like the painter himself, his works are down-to-earth and enthusiastic. They ooze spontaneity, ease and grace," said Wang Wenzhang, honorary president of the CNAA.

Shang Hui, editor of Art, also thought highly of Lv from another perspective. "His creation is closer to the core of Chinese painting, which is culture, not vision. Lv lets his imagination fly and cares about humanity and the spirit world while so many painters nowadays just copy what they see," he said.

Lv’s exhibition shows us the significance of the combination of art theory and practice. As Wang Wenzhang said, only by putting theory into practice can an artist make great progress. Hopefully Lv's art life can enlighten and enrich every individual and the whole society eventually.
