Hot new couple: Sharon Stone and Christian Slater
Sharon Stone and Christian Slater are dating and plan to spend Christmas together, it has been claimed.
Rumours have been rife the pair have been romancing one another since meeting on the set of new movie Bobby.
They have even attended several showbiz events together - including the recent Dolce and Gabbana party at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont Hotel at which they arrived arm-in-arm - but refused to admit they were an item.
Now a source close to 48-year-old Stone has insisted they are dating, and claims the 'Basic Instinct' actress is going to invite Slater, 37, to her house for Christmas.
The source is quoted as saying: "They're both really happy - but they don't have long-term expectations. It's a fun fling for the holidays and Sharon is a good influence. She rarely drinks and has three kids. It's a good match for now."
Slater's divorce from ex-wife Ryan Haddon was finalised in November.
The pair split in January 2005 citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the break-up. They have two children, daughter Eliana, five, and seven-year-old son Jaden, together.
