Premature featherweight baby girl 'now stable'

A baby girl who weighed only 413 grams at birth earlier this month is now in a stable condition, doctors of a hospital in Shanghai said.
The girl, less than 26 cm in height, was one of the premature twins born on Dec 6, just 23 weeks after being conceived.
The girl's twin brother died a day after being born.
Medics at the hospital, which is affiliated to the Fudan University, said they were trying to create an environment similar to that of a mother's womb for the infant, the lightest in the country to have survived.
