Zhang Yimou sent team to prepare show in Taiwan

Chinese movie director Zhang Yimou has sent a team to the scenic Taroko Gorge of Taiwan to prepare for the production of an outdoor show, taihainet.com reported Saturday.
Taroko Gorge, in eastern Hualien, draws many mainland tourists.?
Zhang's latest project, the opera Turandot by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini, is scheduled to perform in Taichung, Taiwan this spring.
Taichung Mayor Jason Hu said the agreement with Zhang to stage the show is preliminary.
