Large Medium SmallMAIDUGURI, Nigeria - A Chinese construction worker was on Friday shot dead in Nigerian's northeastern city of Maiduguri by gunmen.
The Chinese, according to witnesses, was shot dead at a construction site around the Lagos street at about 1 pm local time.
"The man was brought to the hospital (University of Maiduguri Teaching) mortuary dead from gun shots," a staff at the hospital confirmed.
The attack came barely three weeks after a Chinese cook working with a construction company and a Nigerian employed by the Chinese firm were killed in the troubled city of Maiduguri.
