Large Medium SmallTwo men received prison sentences on Tuesday for child trafficking in Henan province after they were found guilty of kidnapping, selling and buying an 18-month-old boy online.
A man named Li, 29, kidnapped the boy in Kaifeng county in May, local newspaper Dahe Daily reported.
He later sold the boy to a man in Caoxian county in Shandong province on May 23 for 40,000 yuan ($6,590) through the Internet.
Police arrested the buyer, surnamed Sun, and found the boy on June 9.
The Kaifeng court sentenced Li to a 10-year sentence and fined him 20,000 yuan.
Sun, the buyer, received a 7-month sentence, the report said.
