2001: Trust Law boosts market
Two major stories on this front page about China's economy.
"A new law on trusts will boost the development of China's economy while protecting the interests of investors."
In another story, former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji confimed that China's economy is gaining momentum and heading in the right direction.
"China has seen a growth rate of 7.9 per cent in the first half of this year despite a depressed global economic atmosphere...Negotiations on China's accession to the World Trade Organization have come to an end after more than 14 years," according to the report.
