Chinese city builds its own 'London Tower Bridge'

A city in East China now boasts its very own version of London's world-famous landmark bridge.

The replica of London's Tower Bridge is located in Xiangcheng district of Suzhou, Jiangsu province.

The Chinese bridge has four towers, twice the number of the original landmark. Each of the five-storey towers is 40 meters in height, and there is also an elevator taking visitors to the top. Different from the original bridge, the replica does not have a river underneath it.

The bridge is now a popular tourist attraction where locals often come to have their wedding photos taken.
