The market value PetroChina has lost since it was listed on the mainland A-share market at the end of 2007. Its share price ended at 7.87 yuan ($1.29) on Tuesday, a far cry from the peak of 48.62 yuan per share on its first trading day on the mainland market on Nov 5, 2007, when it had a total market value of 8.04 trillion yuan.
