Technology, services now focus for Chinese firms

After riding a growth wave fueled by exports for more than three decades, Chinese companies are gearing up for a new phase of development.

Yu Ping, vice-chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said much of these opportunities will come from the surging demand for Chinese goods and services in the APEC economies.
