Victoria Beckham to visit China

Former Spice Girl singer, Victoria Beckham, wife of England national soccer team captain David Beckham, will arrive in Putong International Airport in Shanghai on Thursday.

The hip pop star has been appointed the special judge for this year's World Elite Model Pageant Final, which is held as part of the Shanghai Fashion Week.

Victoria will attend the opening ceremony and spend three days in Shanghai meeting with young designers.

This is the first time Victoria has been to China. Other celebrities who will attend the event include MaggieQ, Maggie Cheung and Chinese NBA superstar Yao Ming.
