Lanzhou sets up chamber of commerce for business development

The Lanzhou Business Development Chamber of Commerce was established in the city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province on April 1, with members elected anonymously.

Li Qiang was elected as the president of the chamber, which then passed regulations.

Lanzhou city's Folk Organization Administration granted its license to the chamber of commerce at the ceremony.

The newly established commercial organization is expected to gather talented personnel and collect funds for Lanzhou's economic development, according to the delegates from the Folk Organization Administration. It will attract non-public-owned enterprises from all over the country to invest in Lanzhou and serve as a platform for Lanzhou and other cities and provinces.
