Baotou to open city’s first multi-story car park

A large multi-story parking lot has opened in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, marking the first parking lot of its kind in the city,?according to?Baotou Evening News.
The car park is divided into two sections, a four-story and a five-story section, respectively offering a total of 260 parking spots.
The parking lot is equipped with separate parking facilities on its first story. An automated parking system (APS) with an interior elevator will help to transport vehicles to the upper levels once the drivers have parked them into designated spots.
Currently, the installation of the outer walls has begun. The parking lot has completed a five-day trial test and is expected to be fully operational later this year.
