On Nov 22, over 650 delegates assembled at the Inner Mongolia People’s Hall to attend the 10th Regional Party Congress of Inner Mongolia, during which Li Jiheng delivered a work report.
Bu Xiaolin, president of Inner Mongolia People’s Government, met with Party delegates from Alxa League, Tongliao, and Xilin Gol League to discuss issues about local development.
The preliminary meeting of Inner Mongolia’s 10th Party Congress convened in Hohhot on Nov 21, during which 653 officials voted through the preparatory agendas and delegates election.
In 2016, the annual budget for poverty reduction in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region rose to 5.79 billion yuan ($870 million), a year-on-year increase of 21 percent, according to the local finance department.
