The first Shanxi Popular Sports Expo opened in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, on June 1, to stimulate young people’s enthusiasm for sports and promote the coming second National Youth Games in 2019.
More than 160 artworks by 96 paper-cutting artists have been on display in Shanxi's Xiangfen county, a popular center of the traditional craft since the mid-Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
