China's press watchdog released new rules on using Chinese characters Thursday, xinhuanet.com reported. Radio and TV programs and advertisements must use Chinese characters, vocabulary, phrases and idioms based on their standardized writing and meanings, said the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SARFT). Specific characters, structures or connotation of the above part of speech are not allowed to be changed. No Internet or foreign language are allowed in idioms. Phrases that are created from Internet language in the form of standard idioms, such as "十動然拒" and "人艱不拆", are not allowed. Idioms like "晉善晉美" and "咳不容緩" are also not standardized, SARFT said.
據(jù)新華網(wǎng)報道，27日，國家新聞出版廣電總局發(fā)布新規(guī)，要求各類廣播電視節(jié)目和廣告應(yīng)嚴格按照規(guī)范寫法和標準含義使用國家通用語言文字的字、詞、短語、成語等，不得隨意更換文字、變動結(jié)構(gòu)或曲解內(nèi)涵，不得在成語中隨意插入網(wǎng)絡(luò)語言或外國語言文字，不得使用或介紹根據(jù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)語言、仿照成語形式生造的詞語，如"十動然拒"、"人艱不拆"等。通知還舉例稱，"晉善晉美"(應(yīng)為"盡善盡美")、"咳不容緩"(應(yīng)為"刻不容緩")等用法不合規(guī)范。

Railway departments will adjust ticket booking time on the Internet or over the phone starting Friday, according to 12306.cn, the official website of the railway ticket booking system. The website has added five new time points, when passengers can start to grab their tickets, to the original 16 each day. After the adjustment, tickets for a new place will be sold every half hour from 8 am to 6 pm. Meanwhile, tickets for C, D and G trains will not be sold separately.

Some cities could see fuel surcharge adjustments in taxis.

More European retailers have been forced to compete with Black Friday online shopping offers since Amazon introduced the trend to Europe in 2010, CNN reported. The New West End Company, which represents stores in London's busiest shopping district, predicts the Black Friday weekend will be London's busiest shopping period - much bigger than previous years. A report by Visa Europe forecasts on Friday $568,000 will be spent on Visa cards every minute in the UK.

Fed up with the fact that frying pans have barely changed in thousands of years, 4 MIT engineers created a high-tech frying pan, foreign media reported. Called Pantelligent, the product has a temperature sensor on the inside that communicates with a smartphone app to give the chef a step-by-step guide to cooking a perfect meal. The matching app comes pre-loaded with a bunch of recipes, including buttermilk pancakes, mushroom risotto and seared scallops. The smart frying pans will be sold in August 2015.

Commuting is about to get a lot more exciting in London as the "world's longest urban trampoline" is about to be installed to let people bounce to the office, The Independent reported. The trampoline is surrounded by soft surfacing for over-enthusiastic jumpers, or anyone wearing a pencil skirt. Officials say the Bounceway could start construction in 2015 in an as yet undecided location.

因微軟公司跨境避稅，中國已向微軟補征了8.4億元的稅款。這也是中國在跨境避稅問題上處理的首個"大案"。

China has levied about $140 million in back taxes from Microsoft Corp in the first major case concerning cross-border tax evasion in the country, Reuters reported.

跨境避稅即cross-border tax evasion，微軟須付給中國back tax and interest (補稅及利息)共計8.4億元人民幣，其未來每年還將繳納超過1億元人民幣的additional tax (追加稅)。
中國和美國稅收機關(guān)2012年就微軟在華業(yè)務(wù)達成bilateral advanced pricing agreement (雙邊預(yù)約定價協(xié)議)，預(yù)約定價協(xié)議確定了transfer pricing (轉(zhuǎn)讓定價)的稅務(wù)處理方式，而轉(zhuǎn)讓定價是跨國經(jīng)濟活動中常見的避稅方法。
