Comment on "Celebrities react on Lu's anti-gay remarks" (China Daily website, July 6)

For all of you gay people who have the right to choose your sexuality (that being gay), others have equally the same right to be straight. That being said, don’t expect, never ever, that the rest of us will have the same mentality as you do.

Why can’t these gay people respect others’ point of view? Do you people try to control what society would say according to your choices? Straight people don't care what your choices are, but they have the right to their views and beliefs.

If you live in a country you think has freedom to choose, don't be a hypocrite by attacking people who don’t share your views or choices.
