China relatively safe from crisis

Comment on "US still plundering global wealth" (China Daily, Oct 14)
An economic slowdown is inevitable if the global financial situation is sluggish. China, too, will face many problems, including loss of jobs for a huge number of migrant workers because of falling exports.
But China will still be okay because it has a robust real economy. Besides, it has a big enough domestic market to be self-sustainable even if exports fall.
