Socialism with Chinese characteristics embodies the ideals and explorations of generations of Communist Party of China members and contains the fruits of their arduous struggles and huge sacrifices over decades.

Xi pointed out the internal logic of the country's development, and made the significant strategic judgment that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new development stage.

Xi's vision and judgment is based on his acute understanding of the country's actual conditions and is thus of great significance to the country's adherence to and continuous efforts to advance its development cause.

Over the past five years, the country has resolved a number of deep-rooted and previously unaddressed problems, and brought new vitality to the development cause of the nation.

Rallying Chinese people of all ethnic groups, China's leadership with Xi as the core has worked out a series of strategic layouts and measures that have helped the country score new achievements in advancing reforms and economic development, and strengthening the nation's defense capabilities and its diplomatic capabilities.

The Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions offered by China to the rest of the world and the receptive welcome they have received have also enhanced Chinese people's confidence in the country's socialist development path, theories, system and culture.
