Chengdu Hi-Tech Composite Bonded Zone passes appraisal

The Chengdu Hi-Tech Composite Bonded Zone has passed State appraisal, according to sources with the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone.
Last Friday, it became the second zone in West China to have passed State appraisal, they said.
Approved by the State Council last October, the zone will focus on notebook computer and flat panel computer manufacturing, wafer fabrication and chip packaging and testing.
